Desire to Succeed

"I am sure glad to be in my shoes right now. My comp has his last day waiting for him tomorrow. He is going crazy. I think. At least we worked a bit today and had a good time. This morning we got out and contacted as usual, so that was way cool. We met a guy that knows Андре Кириленко and we talked a bit with him about b-ball. It was pretty cool. We headed out to the other elders house where we had собрание округа. I talked a bit about what Elder Schwab asked me yesterday - he asked what keeps me going and wanting to work? I thought a lot about it and I guess the biggest thing is the desire to succeed. I don't want to have that feeling of not having success on my mission. Well, I talked with the elders a bit about it today, and I think it will be all good for them. We then headed off to the store to buy a few things for Elder Steiner as he is leaving soon. We decided to head to the FHE for the grandma's and that was pretty cool. We talked with them for a bit and watched Восстановление. I talked with Schwab for a bit again and all in all it was a good evening. We are now getting ready for the last big day. It should be fun!"

Quick One

"Another quick one flew by. We played b-ball and that was a lot of fun. Later, we wrote home and ate before getting my butt kicked in bowling. We played ping-pong, and then we met with members this evening. We talked about missionary work with them, and I thought about how I love being here. What a blessing it is to work with members. I love the work!"

Forgetful

"It was one of those days that I want to forget. Well, one of those nights at least. We played b-ball this morning and that was cool, we got way dirty. We went and wrote home today in Saratov and then ate in McDonalds. Later we slept a bit and then I cut my hair with a razor that I bought. We then had a meeting with a member that didn't happen and so contacted a bit. We then wanted to meet with Денис и Инга but they gave us a фиг. We just knocked and had no luck really. We decided we just have to keep working hard and the Lord will bless us."

Basketball

"I have a terrible back! We played b-ball today, and it was tons of fun – we played for like 2 hours. It was fun, but I am absolutely dead tired now. All is well, it was work it. After that, we ate, and I worked on my talk which I have to give tomorrow. I will talk about the Book of Mormon. Hopefully it will go well.

Besides that, we only had 1 appointment today. It went fairly well. The work is still going, and I am enjoying it greatly. This is the work of the Lord!"
