I bought a new coat today. We ran to the office for yet again some helpless little elders and helped them get to the zone leaders and we continued our journey on the land of treasures and trinkets - my favorite place. We were on a quest to help the Ehlerts find a dead animal to wear (winter coat). After an eventful trip to the rinok, we began the hunt. Elder Ehlert found one he liked pretty quickly, but held back to play the field. After thousands of gypsies yelling at us, lying sellers telling us the jacked up prices, and people undressing in front of everyone, the Ehlerts both took their prey. A few quick words and prices quickly dropped 1000 руб. - they got away with a steal. I grabbed a greasy пирожки from an old grandma and then I found myself a winter run - a wool coat. We scattered off the rinok and grabbed a gazelle to get home. Other than the drunk dirtbag trying to give a grandma 10 руб for "services" and half naked women of all sizes we made it home with our prize. We headed off for another exhausting day in the burning sun and great walks in the office. The only exciting thing that happened was looking at some bored missionaries site (www.mission-possible.jino.ru). Вот, от куда такой стиль писания. Sister Ehlert reared up the stove and pulled together some peanut butter cookies for us hard writing missionaries. After our raid of the kitchen we got out onto the blazing roads of Russia. We began our trek to Вячеслав in order to save some kopekas and got there in time to watch "Finding Faith in Christ." On the way back to our den we worked on saving more money. So another day in the office went by without too much excitement and with a chance to move the work forward. Off to the bed for sweet dreams of Wendy's bacon cheeseburgers and long walks on the beach...
