"I have two companions now. Elder Elzinga and Smoot are both here right now. They are getting to know each other. So tonight we met on вокзал with everyone and sent some elders off. We also were at Вика's and Олга's today and had a very interesting discussion about Jesus Christ. We talked about how we atoned for everyone's sins and how we accept or we don't the atonment. It was interesting. I am leaving tomorrow to go to Engels. I am sad and excited all at the same time. We'll see tomorrow how all turns out!"

Member Work
27 March 2005
"We finally had a good one today. We didn't know that the time changed this morning and so we were late to the meeting. The meeting went well, and afterwards we had собрание миссионеров. We got the 2nd visit for the member work, and we have already done it with Денис and Валерий Печерога. We also met with the Никитины and did the 1st lesson. They are awesome people - deaf - and they are willing to help. Well, tonight we are making chocolate revel bars for a snack. I am still not sure when we will be together - Smoot and me - but I will find out. Off to check the bars I go!"

Falling Through

"It was one of those days being a missionary. Meeting after meeting didn't happen and so we had nothing to do. Being in a threesome we were out of control and we ran around doing the stuff we needed to do and had fun. I got some envelopes, and my pictures. Well, we then went to День открытых дверей and that was a waste of time. We were told not to talk with people at all and that we were guests. Don't know why, but it was just like that. Well, we ended the night at Лена's and Ксюша's. That was fun as always and we ate well with them. Well, its off to bed, and hope that tomorrow is a better day."

Diskioteka

"Once again, we were super busy today. In fact we barely did any missionary work because we had to plan and then tonight we had молодежный вечер and that was awesome. We did the Book of Mormon in like 10 minutes. It was really fun and funny. We had a good time and everyone seemed to like it. There was suppose to be a Дискиотека and Elder Coleman was suppose to DJ but Elder Soleberg - ZL - didn't go for that. Well, we left with Soleberg still upset and mumbling. We also made it to Баба Рая's house this morning. She is doing well, and crazy as always. Other then that, we didn't do much just ran around and we did things that we had to. Tomorrow we have полный день."

Service

"Talk about a wasteless day. We didn't have any meeting but we had to help Володя to a few hospitals this morning. It took us 5 hours. After that, we came home, ate, and studied and then we went to sports night. Like I said it was an effective day. Me and Elder Smith have been playing a lot, and its fun. Elzinga has been joining us. It's such a blast!"

Senior Companion

" Not much news here. Nothing really happened here but we did get our mail. Anyhow, we went to the big Saratov sign and took pictures with all the elders in our zone. We went to a new music place and looked for new music. We came home and relaxed and then we went to Сергей's and had english night with him and his wife. We are now home. I found out that I got a transfer to Энгельс and will be старший напарник and лидер округа. I am excited and sad. It is finally nice to be senior, but I will miss this area. I love working and being here!"

Fasting

"We had a sweet day. We worked really hard and had several meetings. We made good food - pancakes and pizza and then we started fasting for an investigator in Сольнечный. We then went to a ladies house and had a spiritual thought. After that we went to Вика's and Олга's house - Smith's investigators. We had a good spiritual thought and then we went to Света Горина's house and Олег и Галина should have met with us, but they didn't. We then went to deaf FHE and that was way awesome. We played and it was fun as always with them. We are getting ready for p-day tomorrow, and so hopefully it will go well!"
