"It ended as a pretty good day. We had собрание округа this morning at the other elder's apartment and that was cool. We came home, ate, and then went to a meeting with Ирина. It was way hard. It was just hard to answer here questions about the fall of Adam. At the end, I was just about ready to fall over myself. My head was just spinning. Well, we then went to see Татияна и Саша. They are awesome members. They are way nice but have a lot of problems - little money. After that, I had to eat so we ate some stuff from the store. We decided we'd go and knock. That was interesting as always and its been a while since we've knocked so that was fun. We got yelled at a bit and all, but that's missionary work. I have to look for a verse about the fall of Adam so I'm off to do that."

Walking

"I guess I'd better get use to walking because we seem to do it a lot. So we had that meeting this morning, and that was pretty good. We got to find out when the missionaries of the branch can help us. We came home and ate scones and that was good. We talked with our land lady for awhile and that was cool. Then we went out walking to addresses. We found where some members lives and met with them, and then we also contacted for a while. That went well, and I had a good time doing that. My eyes hurt to hold open right now, and I want to sleep. It is insane. This is what missionary work is all about."

Great Member

"We have met one of the most awesome people ever. Сергей is his name and he is a member of the church who is very sincere. He is so awesome. Well, other then that, the day wasn't that great. Actually early this morning we were able to go to the church and I did my first baptismal interview. That was a good experience. We came home and studied and planned and then we ate some really good chili. We finally went over and met with Елена and had a spiritual thought with them. We then went out to President's house but of course he wasn't home. Well, we came back and went to Сергей's house. I wish every member was like him. I will try to be happy no matter what."

Crazy Day

"What a day. It's been crazy. This morning we went to the church and played ping-pong while we waited for our registration. I then met with Татияна one of the members and that went well. We later went to Татияна и Саша but Татияна wasn't home. There we met with a former missionary named Seth Anderson. He is here studying and he served here about 4 years ago. it was interesting to talk with him and find out about what he thinks of thing and what things were like on his mission. We went with him tot the church and were there for a party for those with a birthday last month. We some fun games, and all in all, it was a good time. We ended meeting with Валентина. Well, we got home and Andelin called me and told me we had their keys and that we needed to meet with them but I didn't understand where. We went to the center and looked for awhile, but couldn't find them. Anyhow, we came back and they were already here. I guess that's what I get. All is well though, and I am trying to rely on the Lord. He is definitely blessing me here!"

Slow Day

"We walked everywhere today and I am dead now. We went out contacting this morning, and did so for a while. We had no success and so we went to see Ирина - one of our investigators. She is a great lady and she has a lot of concerns. We then went to the church for собрание миссионеров which didn't happen and then we had english that went pretty well. We bought a bunch of stuff tonight to eat, so that will be nice. Once again, a slow day, but things will get better."

Better

"Well, I was back in Saratov today and so that was cool. We played ping-pong for awhile and that was a lot of fun. We then went to Saratov and wrote home and ate at McDonalds. We came back to Engels and we wanted to find an alarm clock but stopped by to a contacts house and tried to have a lesson with him. He wasn't home. So we met with Алена and Ольга - way cool members. So I feel a lot better today and I am glad to be here. I love these people and am excited to serve!"

Senior...

"I am senior comp and my head is just spinning. This was definitely the longest day for awhile. So this morning we woke up at the apartment in дачный and I got everything all packed and then Elder Smoot and I came over on a taxi. Later I unpacked and got all ready and we started to work. We just went to some houses and met with one really nice lady in the ward. Tonight we had english lesson and that was pretty fun. We had several people there and it was cool. I got to know several people in the ward and it was cool. Now we are home and getting ready for p-day. I am dead, and I need to get on my knees and pray. I need the Lord's help!"
