"I am sure going to miss this place. It is truly an awesome city. I said goodbye to tons of people, and it was sure hard. We did some contacting this morning, and that went well. We ate, and then went to Ирина's house. She is truly a great lady. I have never taught such a person on my mission. She is very intelligent, and every kind, and truly wants to know truth. I cried a bit saying goodbye. Well, we then went to see Татияна and Саша for the last time. This is another great lady. How I will miss this city so much. The people are so awesome. I was only here 2 months and I love these people tons. Брат Stoddard talked about the love he felt for the people after about a year on his mission, and I am having those same types of feelings. These people are so awesome, and I truly love them. What a joy to have served the people in Энгельс. I will remember this city forever. We ended the night at Анатлоий's and Албина's. So all in all, it went fairly well. Tomorrow I head off to Samara so I need to get ready for that."

No Regrets

"The bad news came late last night. I am headed to Samara to serve in the office on Tuesday. I was expecting the transfer, but not so quickly. Well, luckily I was able to talk in church today, and therefore that made things better. I gave a talk, and I think that it went really well. Well, after the meeting we went with Борис and I apologized to Оксана for offending her, and it actually went pretty well. Later, we did a lot of walking and then we stopped by to Сергей Любимеко to say goodbye. He is awesome, and he works on his genealogy work so diligently. If only everyone would do there genealogy like that. I have thought a lot about Энгельс and how I will miss the people and the work. We had little success, but my mission is on the right path and I worked harder here then I ever have on my mission. I definitely have no regrets, and know that I was blessed to serve here. I love the work of the Lord and to served these people. I want to stay on this track the rest of my mission."

Motions

"We survived the day. I don't know what's wrong with me but I just had no energy. I didn't feel much like working but we got out and worked. This morning I prepared for my talk tomorrow and then we ate. We just went to different addresses and contacted all day. We did stop by to Ирина and drank чай with her. She is such an awesome lady, and we love her to death, but she just won't change. Tonight we did get to meet with Евгения and had a good talk with her. We also made chocolate revel bars today. We are just going through the motions right now. It's pretty hard right now."

Sun Tan

"We made a good addition to our sun tan today. That's basically all we did - walk and walk. We did give away 2 Books of Mormon to spice things up a bit. This morning we planned our week and that went fairly well. Later we did all our walking, and that wasn't too bad. Well, we came home and rested a bit before heading to a meeting with Ольга и Алена. That went well. I have been working hard on my talk for Sunday on the Atonement. I hope that it will go well."

Sun Death

"A long day always seems to follow a great one. I think I'll just list some of the joys for the day: Our only meeting of the day with Ирина fell through, no one was home, we walked in the deathly hot sun for over 6 years (did I mention it got super hot today), we talked with only a few interested people,got beat up...lol. Well, it wasn't bad at all, and actually those are several of the joys of the mission. We did have english lesson tonight, and that saved us. Back to work tomorrow..."

School Memory

"I felt like a missionary today. We had a full night and we were able to have a couple of good meetings. We met with Вадим и Алеса this evening. This is a couple that we have tried to meet with for a month and it finally happened. Well, we then went to Татияна's и Саша's and had a good time there as always. Earlier in the day, we played ping-pong awhile and wrote home before going to McDonald's like usual. Also, I sent my brother a few pictures and things for his b-day. I can't believe I am almost 20. Life sure is moving fast. I feel like yesterday I was up on the campus listening to my music, and doing homework. What an awesome opportunity to be here."

Phone Death

"It's already after 10:30, but I really wanted to write. The reason it's so late is because our phone doesn't work and we forgot to pay - well, we payed today. That means that we were at the other elders to let them know and all. Well, we didn't have much success tonight or today. We had english tonight, so that was cool. We walked a lot, but other then that, not much. We watched Вместе Навеки with a family, and it was alright. Tomorrow is already p-day again, wow how time flies!"
