I have a lot of journal entries from my life. Specifically I have a lot of entries from my mission journals. Most people will never actually see or read my thoughts or the things I recorded. However, this blog will give you a look into what I wrote about a few years ago.
I try to read from my mission journals every day for what I did on this day in 2004 and 2005. As I was reading I realized there were so many great memories and I wanted to share them with people (especially the people I was with at the time).
"The Mormon people teach the American religion: their principles teach the people not only of heaven and its attendant glories, but how to live so that their social and economic relations with each other are placed on a sound basis. If the people followed the teachings of this Church, nothing can stop their progress - it will be limitless. There have been great movements started in the past, but they have died or been modified before they reached maturity. If Mormonism is able to endure, unmodified, until it reaches the third and fourth generation, it is destined to become the greatest power the world has ever known."
Count Leo Tolstoi, Russian author and philosopher, to D.S. Foreign Minister Andrew D. White, 1892
